Of the three that are shipped together this is my favorite and way better than the breakfast blend which I find a bit boring, yet a decent value. I really like the Ethipian coffee from Pura Vida and serve it to guests after dinner. I like it in the morning as well, although my daughter finds it too strong for the morning.
The perk (pun intended) of this wonderful brew is that it is a fair trade product. This is by far the smoothest, heartiest, best flavored coffee I have ever drank. I love it so much that I signed up for a subscription for it.
It's well roasted, with a nice mellowness. Really, really good coffee. IMO, African coffees are much smoother than South American.
All bags were vacuum sealed & packed inside another small box, so the seal would not be broken. great for breakfast or anytime. The first time I purchased this coffee from Amazon, it arrived not vacuumed sealed & I was not impressed with the taste, was flat & boring. The flavor is a tasty, rich, smooth medium roast. Will buy again. I decided to give it another try (want to support small, organic, fair-traded Ethiopian farmers). WORLD OF DIFFERENCE.
It is rich and smooth and delicious. I've since ordered more of this flavor. I first tried this coffee as one of three in the Pura Vida Sampler. The other two were good--this was perfect.
